Terms of service

You write a list of documents you need from a client. Pesterly emails that client from your own connected mailbox on day 0, and follows up on days 3, 7 and 10 with only the items still outstanding. When everything is in, it stops — including cancelling a follow-up already queued.

Your client receives one link. They never create an account and never set a password.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for making sure the people you add to Pesterly are people you have a legitimate reason to contact. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

This is the part that matters most, so it is stated plainly: Pesterly sends email as you, from your mailbox, on a schedule you set up. Those messages are your messages. You are responsible for their content and for having a legitimate reason to contact each recipient.

Do not use Pesterly for unsolicited bulk email, for marketing to people who have not asked to hear from you, or for anything unlawful. We will close accounts that do, without a refund.

Nobody can guarantee inbox placement, and we do not. What we can say is that Pesterly sends plain text from your own domain’s reputation, with no tracking pixel and no link shortener.

Your data is yours: your clients, your checklists, and every file your clients upload. We claim no ownership of it and do not use it to train models. We store and process it only to run the service for you.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew until you cancel. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not pro-rate part-months. Prices can change, but never for a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change takes effect.

A lifetime licence, where offered, grants the tier it was bought at for as long as the service exists, with no renewal.

We try hard to keep Pesterly up and to send everything on time, but we do not promise a specific uptime figure and there is no SLA. If a chase is delayed by an outage, on our side or Google’s, the sequence continues from where it left off.

You can close your account at any time, and we delete your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to send unsolicited mail, or that puts the service or other customers at risk.

Pesterly is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Pesterly is a chasing tool, not an accountant, a lawyer, or a records system. It does not check that a document is correct, complete, or the one you actually needed, and it is not a substitute for your own professional judgement or for keeping your own records.
